Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to join schools, companies and individuals from all over Cork and become Mercy Heroes by raising funds for The Mercy University Hospital. This year you will be helping the littlest patients at the Mercy! All funds from this year’s Heroes Day will be going to the POONS service which allows children with cancer to receive treatment from the comfort of their own home. It means fewer trips to the hospital, a greater quality of life and more time spent at home with family and friends. The Mercy Hospital Foundation is inviting people of all ages and from all walks of life to join in the fun; so, whether you’re planning a Dress Up/ Dress Down Day at work or school, a coffee morning at home or at your local club or can help with Mercy street collections around the county, there’s a way to get involved.
