TRADFEST CHILDREN’S HUB at The Ark, Eustace Street, D2 Sat 26 & Sun 27 January

Gigs, trad sessions and workshops designed for ages 2-12 which both children and everyone else will love

Head to The Ark on Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 January to be part of a fun filled family celebration of all things Trad. Ireland’s dedicated cultural centre for children has teamed up with TradFest to present TRADFEST CHILDREN’S HUB 2019 two days of gigs, trad sessions and workshops.  Schools events will take place on Friday 25 January too.

Try your hands at the children’s crafts club, give Trad a try at a drop-in taster lesson on a traditional instrument, learn to play a simple rhythm on the bodhrán in a family workshop, play in a real trad session or make your own handmade toys. You can also experience some of Ireland’s finest musicians performing especially for young audiences as Pólca 4 (Pádraig Ó Sé, Gary O’Brien, Jeremy Spencer, Robbie Harris) perform the high energy music the West Kerry tradition in a concert big on fun.
