The Craft Corner

At the Craft Corner they believe in focusing on quality over quantity. The camp numbers are kept quite small meaning that each child gets individual attention and goes away from their camp experience with a lasting love of craft. They aim that the children will not only create fun projects but they will understand the process of how it was made.   “We believe that teaching children crafts, and nurturing their creativity from a young age, greatly helps them in later life. It develops an ability to problem solve and to think outside the box in a fun way.” says Vanessa Scott Hayward owner of The Craft Corner. At the end of the summer, there will be an exhibition, which will include a communal project that each child will have contributed to, as well as their individual work.  Each week of campers will be involved in a different aspect of the process and the communal project will be donated to a local charity. Camps run Mon – Fri price  €95/child (€90 for each additional child)
