Sport Ireland Campus Summer Kids’ Camps

Children who participate in the Sport Ireland Campus Summer Kids’ Camps will have the opportunity to try a wide variety of new sports in the inspirational, world-class environment of Sport Ireland Campus — the same high-performance setting used by Irish Olympians as they prepare for major competitions.

Each participant will receive fantastic merchandise and meet an international sports star or Olympian as part of their camp experience. Activities take place across some of Ireland’s premier sporting facilities, including the Sport Ireland National Gymnastics Training Centre, the Indoor Athletics Track, and even the AquaZone waterpark (for children aged 9+).

For 2026, an expanded range of camps and specialist sports camps are available to meet growing demand.

Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School (INSS)

Dive into adventure this year with the Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School (INSS) Easter and Summer Camps in Dún Laoghaire.

Designed for all experience levels, the programmes offer a safe and exciting introduction to the sea.

Sea Explorers (Ages 4–6)

A gentle, play-based introduction to marine life. Young adventurers explore Sea Point Beach, learn about the ecosystem, and enjoy trips on the Pirate Launches around the harbour.

Times: 9:00am – 12:30pm

Sea Explorers Go Sailing (Ages 6–7)

The perfect bridge to independent sailing. Mornings focus on shore-based marine discovery, while afternoons introduce children to sailing in Oppies.

Times: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Junior Sailing (Ages 8–10 & 11–14)

A full-day immersion where students are grouped by age and experience. From basic boat handling to advanced techniques, children build confidence while making lifelong friends.

Times: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Teen Sailing (Ages 15+)

Advanced sessions for older teens to master larger vessels and refine their technical sailing skills.

Times: 9:00am – 5:00pm

INSS provides all essential gear including boats and buoyancy aids. Wetsuits are available to hire.

Astropark Kids’ Camps

Astropark’s camps are packed with fun and activity, keeping kids moving, engaged and smiling all day.

Camp Dates

• Easter Camp: 30 March – 10 April (2 weeks)
• Summer Camp: 29 June – 28 August (9 weeks)
• Halloween Camp: 27–30 October (4 days due to the bank holiday)

Their action-packed Kids’ Camps run whenever schools are off, giving children the chance to build skills, make friends and have fun in a safe, high-energy environment — all for just €25 per child.

Optional extras such as early drop-off, late pick-up and meals make things easy for parents.
