Space is coming to Ireland! Blackrock Castle Observatory is celebrating 10 years as an award-winning science and discovery centre in Cork this year. Their Summer of Space activity programme has over 50 public events to help explore our incredible universe, taking places across Cork city and county and the island of Ireland.#SSP17 JUNIOR SPACE CAMP for 5 – 7 year olds takes place on 4th June (Theme: Comets!) and 2nd July (Theme: Asteroids! ) Learn all about comets and make your own at Blackrock Castle Observatory!  Explore Deadly Comets, Comet Ribbons, Dry Ice Bubbles and the Mentos Rocket! Junior Space Campers pay €10 for their space adventure and can bring their parents for free! (One parent per child/group of children is required) Booking and pre-payment are essential. SUMMER SPACE CAMP for older children runs from 10th – 14th July for 7 – 9 year olds; and 17th – 21st July for 10 – 12 year olds. Book and you might see Buzz Aldrin!
