Easter Baking & Puppet Shows
Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Cork’s premium shopping centre, has lots planned for the little ones this spring.  For Easter, call in for Puppet Shows, Easter Baking and a visit from PJ Masks! Free Workshops, Tours & Storytelling
Call in to Crawford Art Gallery in Cork during the weekend for fun, free family events. Free Guided Gallery Tour and Free Workshop every Sunday at 2pm. Free Storytelling for 1-4 year olds on the last Sunday of every month at 2pm, 2:30pm & 3pm. Free Music at Midday concert on the first Sunday of every month at 12pm. Junior Space Camp! Sun 5th April
Amazing science with an intergalactic twist for kids aged 5-7 years. This month’s theme is Light/The Sun. Explore mirrors and reflections and use big prisms to make rainbows. Tell the time on the giant sundial in the courtyard and learn how to observe the sun safely using Sunspotters. A fun and hands-on workshop from 12pm -1.30pm. Egg-Citing Easter Eggstravaganza (Mon 6th – Thurs 16th April)
Lough Key Forest & Activity Park is a great place to spend the Easter break, enjoy lots of fun and egg-citement with slime classes, entertainment and tasty treats! Easter Family Fun Event (Fri 10th – Mon 13th April)
This Easter the Irish National Stud & Gardens in Tully, County Kildare celebrate this beautiful time of year with its annual Easter Family Fun event. Meet some newborn foals and watch them frolic in their paddocks and visit the gardens in colourful bloom. Welcome the Mad Hatter and take part in his Easter Egg Hunt. There will also be a petting zoo with lots of cute furry friends, as well as face painting and magic shows to get you into the Easter spirit. Enjoy a magical fairy trail, playground and explore the stunning grounds. All activities will take place from 12pm – 4pm. Meet the Easter Bunny (Sat 11th – Mon 13th April)
For a fun family day out this Easter, visit the Waterford Suir Valley Railway. The Easter Bunny will be at Kilmeadan Station to greet you on arrival and wave you off on the train. Trains depart the station on the hour. You can even have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny.   Open 11am-4pm Easter Saturday; 12 noon -5pm Easter Sunday and 11am-4pm on Bank Holiday Monday. No advance bookings - turn up early before the hour you want to travel to get your tickets. Monster Easter Egg Hunt (Sat 11th – Mon 13th April)
Leahy’s Open Farm in Dungourney, Co Cork, is open all over the Easter Holidays, and their Monster Easter Egg Hunt takes place throughout Easter weekend. The Easter Bunny will be dropping eggs continuously throughout the farm, so no matter what time you start your hunt there will be eggs everywhere… Egg & Spoon races for parents and an Egg Throwing competition. Blue Imagination Playground (Sat 11th – Mon 13th April)
A breakthrough play space concept designed to encourage child-directed free play will return to Fota Wildlife Park due to popular demand. The Blue Playground was a massive hit with the crowds last summer, especially with the very young visitors and the premium quality big blue foam blocks of various shapes will return for the Easter weekend and three further weekends this summer. The Blue Playground is made up of squares, channel chutes, connectors and more – for hours of fun. Easter Art Workshops (Sat 18th April)
Visual artist John Flynn returns to Fota Wildlife Park with an animal and bird themed Easter Workshop for 5-12 year olds. Workshops will be held in the main Marquee, and materials provided.
